Shipping & Taxes

SHIPPING & DELIVERY:

We offer a flat rate shipping fee on all of our gun cabinets being shipped within the 48 contiguous states.  Once your gun cabinet has left our shop, we will email you tracking information for your order.  After the delivering terminal has the cabinet in hand, the carrier will be contacting you directly to set up the delivery.  All cabinets are shipped fully assembled by common carrier.  The motor freight delivery requires the consignee to be present at the time of delivery to inspect, accept & help unload the shipment.  This type of delivery is called “curbside” and simply includes delivery to your physical address.  It does not include inside delivery or moving the cabinet away from the curb or down your driveway.  Lift gate service is available for any gun cabinet delivery at a cost of $90.  We encourage our customers to utilize the liftgate service. Transit time will vary from 2 to 10 days (east to west) for most delivery addresses.  Current lead time is approximately 6-10 weeks for any gun cabinet.

DAMAGES:

VERY IMPORTANT:  Please inspect all packaging and crating and contents for any visible or concealed damage immediately upon receipt.  The packing material needs to be removed for cabinet inspection.  We pack all of our gun cabinets to prevent damage from the transport agencies, but it can happen on occasion. 

Be sure to note any damage on the delivery receipt before signing.  Thoroughly inspect the shipment ASAP.  Note any damage to the packaging and/or interior contents on the delivery receipt before signing.  If damage is found, please refuse shipment and contact us immediately. If possible, take photos of the damage for our records and for the claim.  We will handle the insurance claim and get a replacement sent out to you as soon as is reasonably possible. 

If damage is found after the delivery receipt is signed and the delivery driver has left, you will be responsible for the claim and any additional charges that may occur. USA Gun Cabinets will take full responsibility for filing the claim and the replacement, repair, return, etc. when damage is noted on the delivery receipt at the time of the attempted delivery and if the delivery is refused.   If for any reason you cannot inspect the package at delivery time be sure to note SUBJECT TO INSPECTION on the delivery receipt with your signature.  This does not guarantee that a claim can be filed, but it may help.  There may still be costs incurred that the carrier will not cover.  Please know that these are not our rules & regulations, but the standard protocol of the motor freight carriers.  

RETURNS: 

These cabinets are all custom made to order and all returns need a return approval from USA Gun Cabinet customer service before returning any product.  Returns must be made within 30 days of order receipt.  Please inspect all items immediately upon receipt.  All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee, with the exception of damage or manufacturing flaws.  USA Gun Cabinets is not responsible to pay any of the shipping or repackaging fees incurred when returning a product to us and must be returned in the same condition that they left our shop in.  

TAXES:

Residents of Pennsylvania are required to pay a 6% sales tax on all purchases.
